ARMED robbers raided a Wirral off-licence at the weekend causing "great upset" for staff
Two men threatened staff with an iron bar at Bargain Booze, Pasture Road, Moreton at around 8.45pm on Sunday, September 11.
The robbers made off with cash and cigarettes. Detectives have now released CCTV footage of the incident.
The pair, who were wearing dark coloured clothing and hoods, fled on foot and are believed to have then driven away.
Detective Constable John Molyneux said: "This is an unpleasant attack which caused staff great upset.
"Merseyside Police takes incidents of this nature extremely seriously and we are committed to catching the offenders.
"I would ask members of the public to take particular note of the distinctive detail on the clothing of the men in the CCTV and contact us if they recognise them, or have any information about their whereabouts so we can eliminate them from our enquiries."
Anyone with information can contact Birkenhead CID on 0151 777 2265 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
