WIRRAL'S 007 star Daniel Craig has donated the suit he wore in the 2006 blockbuster Casino Royale to a special clothes auction.

James Bond’s attire will be among other outfits up for grabs as part of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital Imagine Appeal’s Clothes Throw campaign.

The event, which is sponsored by Liverpool ONE, centres around an exclusive auction where celebrities, stores and fashion houses donate clothes for people to bid for.

Other fashion donations have come from Joan Collins, Nicole Richie and Sienna Miller.

The Imagine Appeal is also encouraging people to hold their own Clothes Throw parties at their home or workplace, buying unwanted clothes from each other, updating their wardrobes and donating any proceeds to the appeal in the process.

Donna Howitt, marketing director at Liverpool ONE said: “We’re encouraging people to hunt through their wardrobes and dig out stylish, unwanted designer outfits to donate at the giant bag and also to host their own fun Clothes Throw party with friends.”

The Liverpoool ONE Clothes Throw pop-up shop opens on Saturday, October 29 for one day only.
