A WIRRAL business is leading a special Easter egg appeal for children in Merseyside.
Rick Farrell, from Adams Selfstore in Birkenhead, is asking Globe readers to come forward to donate Easter eggs for children who may not otherwise receive them.
The campaign is being run in conjunction with Radio City’s Cash for Kids and Rick is hoping to get local schools involved.
He said: "I wanted to get involved with the community and do something charitable. People can either drop them off here or schools can collect them and then we can arrange to pick them up.
"I know Wirral people are really generous and I have watched the way they get behind local charities."
The appeal runs until April 16 when all eggs will be delivered by Radio City to children across the borough. For more information, contact Rick on 0151 647 2007.
