STEVE Aspinall fired his sixth hat-trick of the season in the Houlihan's Birkenhead Sunday Soccer League as Brow blew Shaftesbury out of the Veronica Conway Premier Cup in a 7-1 whirlwind.
Queens Park beat Parkside 5-0, with goals from Simon Lewis, John Thompson, Watterson and that old crowd pleaser, Vinnie Duff.
Woodchurch had a 3-2 success against SDV, for whom Ben Jenna scored twice.
In Division One, Parkdale continued their drive for promotion by beating Holt Springs 8-0. Scorers were Gladwin, 3, Foreshaw, 2, Williams, Phelan and Stevenson.
One O'Clock Gun beat Horse & Jockey 4-3 in Division Two, with goals from Ian Byrne and hat-trick hero Ian Dobbs. Bebington RAFA beat Neston 2-1, Andy Forsythe and Neil Hopkins on target. Ritchie Dixon replied.
Mickey Phillips scored a hat-trick as St John's Celtic beat Tranmere Vics 4-2.
In the Third, Damien Barker and Rob Hastie scored the goals as Sandon Arms had a fine 2-1 victory over Royal Castle. Hilbre were beaten 5-2 by Windmill Vets, and goals for Peter Rooney (2), Les Jones and Chris McGinn gave Corsair victory over Penketh 4-3, with Paul Parker and Dave Lidgate replying.
In the Fourth, DW Fencing beat Tut & Shive 3-1, with Graham Neary, Neil Taylor and veteran Chris Maddocks on target. Lee O'Connor replied with a 45 yard free-kick which went over the keeper's head.
Dave McShane was among the goals as Saughall beat Wirral Liberals 3-2. There were hat-tricks for Gary Smith and Colin George as Queens Park Entrance beat Pyramid 8-0.
