Concern grows for missing Wirral man


CONCERN is growing for the welfare of a 39-year-old man from Birkenhead who has been missing from home since January 25.

Brendan Taaffe was last seen by his family and has not been in contact with anyone since then.

He has been suffering from depression lately and his family and friends are concerned for his safety.

Brendan is described as white, 6ft 1in tall, of medium build, short dark brown hair and is thought to have blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a dark coat, blue jeans and brown shoes.

He is known to frequent Birkenhead and Liverpool city centre.

Police have been actively seeking Brendan since he was reported missing and enquiries are ongoing to establish his whereabouts.

Police would urge Brendan or anyone who may have seen him since Monday, January 25 to contact Wallasey Police Station on 0151 777 2981 or contact the National Missing Persons Helpline in confidence on 0500 700 700.
