THE NEXT TweetUp charity event takes place at Cromwells Restaurant in Irby next month - and raffle prizes are desperately needed.

A TweetUp is a gathering of some of the thousands of Wirral people who are members of the online micro-blogging site Twitter.

The event, on Tuesday, February 23, starts at 6pm at the restaurant on Thingwall Road and will be raising money for Wirral Ark.

The raffle will take place at about 7pm, followed by a free buffet. All they ask is that you buy your own drinks and a few raffle tickets.

RSVP as soon as possible at www.twtvite.com/mn6g7f and don't forget to Tweet about it by using the #wirraltweetup tag.
