Birkenhead man catches 'UFO' on video camera

A BIRKENHEAD man claims to have captured a UFO briefly hovering over the town on Tuesday evening.
Matthew Morris was sat smoking a cigarette outside his home in Patterson Street at around 9pm when he noticed a strange light in the sky.
"It was really weird," he said. "It seemed to be coming down really fast, and then it stopped, moved around a little bit, then started dropping again.
"I'm certain it wasn't a firework or a maroon - it moved in really definite directions like it was being controlled.
"I managed to take a picture of it and get some video on my mobile phone, but then it moved away from my eyeline over the houses."
