THE body of a 46-year-old man has been found on waste ground near the Morton Arms pub in Moreton today.
Police cars and two ambulances gathered in the pub car park on Pasture Road at lunchtime today, said a Globe reader.
A Merseyside Police spokesman later confirmed that a body had been found on common ground near to the pub.
The spokesman said it was believed but not confirmed that the man may have suffered from an overdose of an unnamed substance.
