The Pyramids Shopping Centre in Birkenhead is celebrating its 20th year this month.
Work began on the foundations for the complex in 1986 and it eventually opened to the public three years later.
On Tuesday there were events taking place to entertain local people, including people on stilts, face painting, and a visit by Seven Waves Radio.
