A MOTHER and son from Woodchurch have been issued with interim anti-social behaviour injunctions following alleged threatening behaviour.

Action was taken against Patricia Badley of Walby Close and Peter Badley of Houghton Road following alleged incidents of verbal abuse and threatening behaviour directed at a neighbour.

The matter was referred by Patricia Badley's landlord, Wirral Partnership Homes, to Wirral Anti-Social Behaviour Team.

Applications were made for Anti-Social Behaviour Injunctions against the pair.

At Birkenhead County Court on May 6, interim anti-social behaviour injunctions were issued against Patricia, 43, and Peter, 24, whilst awaiting a full trial.

Under the terms of the interim injunctions, the pair were banned from threatening to use violence against the victim and her family or from anyone else residing at, visiting or otherwise engaged in a lawful activity at her home.

They were also banned from directing any foul or abusive language towards the victim, her family or any person residing at, visiting or otherwise engaged in a lawful activity at her home.

The pair were also ordered not to engage or threaten to engage in conduct that is capable of causing nuisance or annoyance to the victim, her family or any person residing at, visiting or otherwise engaged in a lawful activity at her home.

Patricia Badley was also ordered not to enter any part of the victim's property, including it gardens, and Peter Badley ordered not to enter Walby Close.

Brian Simpson, Chief Executive of WPH said: "Anti-social behaviour should not have to be tolerated by anyone and WPH welcomes the prompt action of the Courts in granting an interim injunction prior to the full hearing."

The trial date has been listed for June 9.
