Live web chat this Wednesday

2:21pm Monday 1st December 2008

CHIEF Constable Bernard Hogan-Howe is to take part in a live web chat this Wednesday.

The online question and answer session is to be hosted on the Merseyside Police website on Wednesday, December 3, between 9.30am - 10.30am. Questions can be asked in advance or live at the time of the webchat.

The internet forum is one of the ways for the public to have access to officers and to let him know what policing is working well in Merseyside and where improvements can be made. The event is focused on giving individuals the chance to highlight and discuss issues which are important to them.

To take part, members of the public should log onto the Merseyside Police website at www.merseyside.police.uk/forum or click the link below.

Those wishing to post a comment or question are required to register at the same address before joining the forum and members of the public are able post a question prior to the event.

Local Area Commanders also hold online webchats each month, giving you the opportunity to ask your local officers questions about policing in your community. More information can be found on the Merseyside Police website.
