Action was taken against Joel Bowden when his on-going anti-social behaviour was brought to the attention of Merseyside Police and Wirral Anti-Social Behaviour Team by members of the public and business owners in and around the town.

The order, issued at Liverpool Youth Court, expires on June 7, 2024.

Under the terms of the order, Bowden, 17, must not:

"This is an excellent example of police, our partners and our community working together to tackle anti-social behaviour. People need to understand if they make people's lives a misery through anti-social behaviour, we will use the full force of the law to deal with them.

"Criminal Behaviour Orders continue to be an extremely effective tool and our successful application for the CBO in this case shows our commitment to dealing robustly with repeat offenders who have a negative impact on the community.

"Should Bowden breach the conditions of this order, he will be arrested, returned to court and subject to further action. Be assured any similar reports in Wirral will be dealt with as robustly.
