TV STAR Terri Dwyer returned to Arrowe Park Hospital's maternity unit to officially unveil its new midwife-led care area, writes Emily Merrall.
The 34-year opted to have her first baby at the hospital 21 months ago and was delighted with the care she received during her pregnancy and the time she spent in hospital.
The new three-bed area, which includes a water birth facility, aims to promote the normality of labour and seeks to provide a home from home' environment for low-risk women, run totally by midwives.
Terri, who presents ITV's 60 Minute Makeover, said: "Arrowe Park is my local hospital and I was keen to have my baby there. I was really impress-ed with the continuity of care I had."
