Airport's 'collection 08' is launched

The launch of Liverpool John Lennon Airport's Collection 08' has taken place, with a number of special guests in attendance.
The Collection 08' is a unique collection of photography, art and other exhibits which are showcased in and around the airport terminal and have been unveiled in the run up to next year's Capital of Culture celebrations.
As part of the launch, JLA unveiled Paul Saltzman's super-sized photographs of the Beatles in India in a switch on' style event with the images showcased in giant light boxes in the airport departure lounge.
Paul himself attended the event to talk to visitors about these outstanding images.
Joining Paul was Tom Murphy, sculpture of the famous John Lennon statue, Harry Goodwin whose two photographic exhibitions are on display and Brian Fisher, owner of two of John Lennon's suits which were on display.
