CONCERN is growing for the welfare of a Wirral teenager who was reported missing at the weekend.
Sophie Spence, from Prenton, was last seen just before midnight Sunday. Extensive enquiries are ongoing to locate her.
The 14-year-old is white, 4ft 12in tall, of slim build, with long mousy coloured hair and a pale complexion.
When last seen, Sophie was wearing light blue skinny jeans, a green bubble coat and black and white Vans trainers.
She is known to frequent Birkenhead.
Police are making extensive efforts to find Sophie and return her home safely and would urge Sophie, anyone who knows her whereabouts, or who has seen a girl resembling her to contact @MerPolCC, call 101 or the independent charity Missing People by calling 116 000 or by emailing 116000@missingpeople.org.uk.
