A MOTORCYCLE rider, who tested positive for cocaine and was allegedly supplying Class A drugs, was arrested following an early-hours crash at Kilgetty roundabout.

Pembrokeshire Roads Policing Unit attended the two-vehicle crash, on the westbound side of the A477 roundabout, at 1.20am on Sunday morning, August 12.

A Pembrokeshire Roads Policing team member said: “At approximately 01.20hrs we received a call regarding a two vehicle RTC that had occurred on the A477 at Kilgetty roundabout involving a motorcycle and a car, both travelling westbound.

“Enquiries at the scene led to the motorcyclist being arrested for riding whilst under the influence of cocaine and both he and his passenger arrested for conspiracy to supply class A drugs.”

Police have stated that numerous items were seized after the arrests, including substantial amounts of cash.

This was the second drug-related arrest in just over two days in the area.

Just six miles away, Pembs RPU seized around 93 grams of what officers believe to be class A drugs, when a vehicle was stopped at Carew on Thursday evening, August 9.

Both occupants were arrested for possession with intent to supply controlled drugs.

The driver of the vehicle was also arrested for drug and disqualified driving and driving with no insurance.
