FIREFIGHTERS tackled a kitchen blaze in Wallasey.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were called at around 6.40pm on Monday, August 13 to a house on Mosslands Drive following reports of a fire.
On arrival, crews discovered a fire in the kitchen and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
There were no injuries.
Parts of the ground floor were severely damaged by smoke.
Two fire engines attended the incident and firefighters left the scene just before 7pm.
