Wallasey pageant star Beth Greenham crowned Ms Galaxy

Beth Greenham, 28, was handed the Ms Galaxy crown in Orlando at the final of the Galaxy International Pageant on July 14.

After competing in pageants for more than ten years, Beth won the Ms Galaxy UK crown in March and was one of nine winners sent to compete at the international final in Florida.

She has previously won Miss Galaxy UK representing Chester in 2010 but eight years later, she has made the greatest of comebacks - after nearly quitting the industry.

Earlier this year, Beth said: "Last year I came second in the Miss Galaxy UK competition - I was going to quit pageants after that but they're so addictive. I want to give it one last go.

"I had it in my head i'd be done with it but when you come so close to winning something, you want to go back and do it again."

During the final, the American judges commented on how impressed they were with Beth's 'bubbly' personality which also led her to win the Best in Interview award at the final.

As part of her pageant work, Beth has also been able to raise thousands for the Christie Cancer charity based in Manchester.

Beth told the Globe: "Winning Ms Galaxy International 2019 is a dream come true.

"It’s been a long ten years trying to make it to the top but I fully believe in timing and know that this was the right time for me.

"I am so proud to be a part of the pageant community and to now hold an international title means I can give greater exposure to the people, charities and communities I hold most dear.

"I am so proud of my achievement as I have worked tirelessly, and have every intention of keeping up the hard work and treasuring every second of my years reign.

"In saying that, if anyone would like me to attend functions, fundraisers events etc I would absolutely love to come and offer my time to making a difference.

"Thank you for all the support across Wirral and Liverpool, it’s been truly amazing."
