DEFENDER Zoumana Bakayogo has returned to Tranmere Rovers after signing a one year contract.

He first Prenton Park in 2009 after moving from France in 2009.

He went on to make almost 150 appearances for the club and was named player of the season in 2012/13.

His form earned a move to Leicester City.

Last season he played 36 times for David Artell's side and joined up with Rovers on trial earlier this month.

Manager Micky Mellon said: "I'm really pleased to bring Zoom back to the club.

"He's got a fantastic attitude, he's a great athlete and he has fitted in really well with the group."
