KNUTSFORD’S artisan gin and craft beer specialist Dexter and Jones is to host its own gin festival later this year.

Knutsford Gin Festival will be held at The Courthouse Hotel, Knutsford on November 25 and follows two successful years for the business in the town.

The event will feature 50 gins from Dexter and Jones’ favourite regional, national and international distilleries, all perfectly served with the distillers’ recommended tonic and garnish.

The event will also feature a gin cocktail bar and each session will play host to a ‘gin masterclass’ where you can learn about gin, its history and how it is made.

Mike Parker, director of Dexter and Jones said: “We hold regular ‘meet the brewer’ and ‘gin tasting evenings’ at the shop which have proven to be very popular so we’re really excited to take this to the next level and organise our own festival at the recently refurbished ‘Courthouse’ which is just a minutes walk from our shop.

“Over the past couple of years we’ve met and made friends with lots of small craft distillers, each producing their own unique gin and each having their own individual story.

“The event will allow us to showcase many of our favourite gins and we’ll be joined by some of the finest small batch distillers who will be on hand throughout the day, giving guests the opportunity to hear their stories and sample their gins.”

The festival is split into two sessions – 12pm to 4pm and 5pm to 9pm. Tickets for each session are £20 which includes a gin glass, festival guide and two gin and tonic tokens.
