OH, what a circus ... oh, what a show!

No, it's not Evita for now, but an astonishing piece of entertainment that will literally thrill audiences of all ages.

There is a party atmosphere celebrating 250 years since what we all know as the ‘circus’ was invented.

Welcome to the unique ‘Berserkus.’

Director Julius Green is the creative ringmaster who, with founder Martin Burton, has brought together 35 top-class performers.

This is a visual treat that will have you open-mouthed and sitting on the edge-of-your-seat and all other clichés that are here very much warranted.

The one-hour-45 minute production with an interval (to get your breath ... I had a lie down) combines contemporary cirque-style artistry with cinematic-like stunt action with all the slickness of a West End show.

Every single member of the collective troupe, from all over the world, each deserves a pat on the back – that is if you can keep them still for one moment.

It includes jugglers, a knife-throwing duo, aerialists, dancers, a fire-eating robot, drummers and daredevils.

There are also two wonderful slapstick clowns in the loveable, multi-tasking Mustache Brothers from Brazil.

Nuts, indeed.

The music is electrifying and the costumes and choreography exhilarating.

This is a 100 per cent fantastic family show.

One of the best pieces of all-round entertainment I have seen in a long time.

Just when you think you have seen it all they come up with another scintillating surprise.

It ends with the hair-raising 'Globe of Death' from the stunning Lucius Team - a dangerous motorcycle act that has to be seen to be believed.

I recommend you run away to this theatrical circus – you won’t regret it.

GASP-TASTIC! Five stars

The show's run ends tomorrow (Saturday), when there is also a matinee.
