IRBY Artists' annual exhibition takes place this Saturday.

Held at St Chad's Church Hall in Roslin Road, Irby it will feature more than 250 items of art and craft. It is on from 10am to 5pm. Admission free, refreshments available.

Pottery classes

POTTERY classes for adults and children take place on Mondays and Wednesdays.

The two or three-hour drop in sessions will take place from 10am-9pm.

Variety showcase

HESWALL Musical Society and Heswall Concert Band's production of Variety Showcase will be staged at Heswall Hall on July 6-7.

The show will feature songs to commemorate historical events and anniversaries for 2018.

Shared reading

A NEW shared reading group starts at Hope Place Coffee Shop in Prenton next month.

Taking place on Tuesday, June 5, from 10.30am to noon it is a chance to read and hear a great story or poem. Everyone welcome.

 

Summer fair

 

PALS are holding a Summer Fair on at St Paul with Luke's Church in Rock Ferry on Saturday, June 9.

 

Taking place at the venue in Old Chester Road from  11am–12.30pm it will feature homemade cakes and bakes, along with tea, coffee and drinks for children.

 

Items for sale will include Good-as-New/Gifts, Bottle Tombola, Toys, and Books together with CDs/DVDs all a bargain prices. As well as refreshments, a raffle and much much more.  

 

At midday there will be a dance display by the Whitehead School of Dance & Drama

Sit fit

Embroiderers' guild

WIRRAL branch of the Embroiderers' guild meets this Thursday at Williamson Art Gallery in Slatey Road, Birkenhead from 7.15-9.15pm.

Hooton Park
