Police have received reports of the man cycling on the hard shoulder
POLICE are currently investigating a report of an elderly man on a push bike on the M53.
North West Motorway Police received a report at around 2.15pm today (Tuesday, May 15) of an elderly man on a push bike on the hard shoulder of the M53 between junction 1 and 2 southbound.
Cheshire Police and the Highways Agency are making their way on scene to investigate.
