TRANMERE Rovers' crusade for crucial National League points continues tonight when they face play-off chasing Dover Athletic.
Off the back of Saturday's 2-0 home victory over Aldershot Town, Micky Mellon says his side will be ready for the long journey south and a tough test against the Kent outfit.
The game, which was postponed on Good Friday because of a waterlogged pitch and rescheduled, starts at 7.45pm.
In an interview on the club's website, Rovers manager Micky Mellon said: "We're really looking forward to it, it’s a massive game and you want to be involved in games like this, so let's get it on.
"We'll get the players down there in as best shape as we can and be as best prepared as possible.
"We'll have a terrific following down there.
"I don’t know many other clubs’ fans who will travel the distance that our fans will on a Tuesday night, but I'm sure they will be there in massive numbers and get right behind the team and we'll try and make sure we do them justice.
"It will be a tough game but we’ll be ready to go."
