18-year-old arrested after assault on college worker
A TEENAGER has been arrested following an attack on a member of staff at Wirral Metropolitan College.
Merseyside Police were called at around 2.30pm on Thursday to the Conway Park campus in Birkenhead following a reports of an altercation.
A female member of staff received bruising to her ribs in the incident.
An 18-year-old man from Poulton was detained by security staff before being arrested on suspicion of assault.
He has been taken to custody for questioning.
