FIREFIGHTERS tackled a washing machine blaze in Heswall.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were called at around 12.17pm on Sunday, March 4 to Seafield Avenue following reports of a washing machine well alight.
Two fire engines attended the incident and crews used a CO2 extinguisher to put the fire out.
No-one was injured.
Firefighters remained at the scene for around 20 minutes.
