DOUBLE yellow lines have been painted on some paths at Landican Cemetery and Crematorium in a bid to prevent obstructions to visitors.
Wirral Council say that these measures have been put in place on narrow paths to prevent cars obstructing visitors who come to the cemetery.
It is believed that the lines were painted last week.
A spokeswoman for the Council said: "Double yellow lines have been painted on a small section of four of the smaller paths to the right of the crematorium where parked cars are causing a serious obstruction to people using the cemetery and the crematorium.
"We have also provided double yellows in front of the crematorium to allow funeral vehicles to park unobstructed.
"Other than that, there are no new double yellow lines and most of the area remains available to park."
