TRANMERE Rovers Ladies have revealed Beanstalk Lettings as their new sponsor for the 2017/18 season.

The residential and commercial lettings agent will feature on the new Rovers Ladies shirt for the rest of the season.

Currently playing their home fixtures at Ellesmere Port Sports Village, the ladies team have enjoyed a good first half of the season after the disappointment of relegation from the FA Women's Premier League last term.

Managing director of Beanstalk Lettings Paul Edwards said: “We’re a local company so we’re proud to sponsor a local club for the 2017/18 season and hope the Ladies team can continue the success they’ve had so far this season.”

With the Ladies team producing many talents throughout the years such as England striker Jodie Taylor partnerships like this help fund many travel to equipment to help the development of players.

Rovers are currently in second position in the North West Women's Regional League, four points behind leaders Stockport County and on a run of just one defeat in their last 13 matches in all competitions.

Manager Louise Edwards said: "The season is going really well so far, with great progress being made.

"The new players who joined at the start of the season have settled in very well.

"We knew this season would be tough after getting relegated, but we are definitely moving in the right direction, with some excellent performances."
