THE Cestrian Ramblers are going on a nine-mile walk Burwardsley near Chester on Sunday, January 21, and you can join them.

The group will leave Chester at 9am that day for the walk.

The group organises two Thursday walks each month throughout the year, some with a pub lunch.

Holy and humorous

'HOLY and Humorous' - an evening with John Bell of the Iona Community - will be held at Heswall United Reformed Church on Saturday, February 24.

The event, taking place from 7-9pm, is open to all, especially to anyone who believes there is no fun in faith.

AN afternoon tea featuring music from Ellipses will be held at West Kirby Library today (Wednesday).
