I, and many other previous passengers of the 901 bus service, whole-heartedly agree with Edward Robertson.

The removal of the 901 has brought a lot of grief, depression and home confinement to many residents in Saughall Massie, Moreton Cross, Overchurch Road, Hoylake Road and those wishing to travel to Leasowe Station.

I have been badly affected by this unnecessary changeover.

I am more confined to home than ever before as I have a walking disability.

The 901 was my independence.

My day out around Moreton Cross, shopping, browsing, meeting people, that has all stopped.

When the changeover first happened, 901 to 1 and 1c, I also contacted Merseytravel.

The person I spoke to was very sympathetic and told me: "this is just a trial and will be reviewed in four months."

Merseytravel must be making a loss because the number 1 and 1c are running, most times, empty of passengers.

I’m sure that if past passengers of 901 were able to put pen to paper, Merseytravel would realise the hardship, isolation and stress this caused for many people.

I would urge passengers of 901 to keep protesting.

Inundate Merseytravel's office with phone calls to reinstate the 901. Its number is 330 1000.
