FORECASTERS have issued a weather warning for fog across Wirral.
From 7pm tonight (Wednesday) until 11am on Thursday visibility may fall below 100 metres across the borough.
Drivers are being warned of slower journey times.
There is also the possibility for delays to flights.
In a statement, the chief forecaster said: "Fog patches are likely to form during the early part of Wednesday evening, becoming more widespread overnight with the visibility falling below 100 metres in places.
"Fog will thin slowly later on Thursday morning, although some patches may persist into the afternoon in the west of the warning area."
