TRANMERE Rovers take a break from National League this weekend to face Solihul Moors in the first round of the FA Trophy.
With the postponement of the Woking game earlier this month, Micky Mellon says it is important to play his strongest team to keep the players active for the match at Damson Park, which starts at 3pm.
Looking ahead to game in an interview on the club's website, Mellon said: "We value the FA Trophy because it's an opportunity to try and get to Wembley, and to take Tranmere there would be massive and we want to achieve that for the football club and the fans.
"So we'll be attacking the game and pick the strongest team we possibly can, particularly as we’ve not had much football lately, so it's important to keep the momentum moving forward.
"The most important game for us is the next one and that's in the FA Trophy this weekend.
"We'll be as best prepared as we can and we'll look to play well and get a victory."
