LIVERPOOL'S ultimate Beatle tribute band The Mersey Beatles will embark on a historic UK tour kicking off in Port Sunlight.
The Fab Four will head to Hulme Hall on October 31, 2018 as part of their 2018 Get Back tour, visiting the very same towns, cities and venues that the original band rocked in the 1960s.
The Beatles played the Wirral village hall no fewer than four times – most famously on August 18, 1962 when Ringo Starr made his debut as the band’s new drummer.
Following this the band would forever be known John, Paul, George and Ringo.
Within a two-hour show – which brilliantly captures all the hits from Love Me Do to Let It Be – The Mersey Beatles will play the exact same songs John, Paul, George and Ringo did at the venue, allowing audiences to really ‘Get Back in time for a true Fab Four experience’.
Formed in 1999 in Liverpool by four school friends, The Mersey Beatles have toured the world many times over.
The band – Mark Bloor (John), Steven Howard (Paul), Craig McGown (George) and Brian Ambrose (Ringo) cannot wait to hit the road in 2018.
Steven said: “This tour is going to be amazing.
"We are, of course, all Beatles fans and, as Liverpool lads we’ve been obsessed with the band since we were in school.
"It’s going to be great to follow in the Fab Four’s footsteps and truly recreate those special shows at these wonderful and historic venues.”
We’re so excited to announce that next year we are going on our BIGGEST EVER UK Tour! We’ll be performing at the same British dance halls and theatres that made the Fab Four… FAB!

Julia Baird, John Lennon’s sister and director of The Cavern Club, said: “The Mersey Beatles are the most authentic I’ve heard... and I’ve heard them all.”
No fewer than 80 of the 200 British venues The Beatles played between 1957 and 1966 remain today due to the fact that so many historic dance halls and theatres with ties to the Merseybeat sound have been demolished.
