FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a blaze at a derelict house in Bidston.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were called to Naylor Road at around 4.10pm on Wednesday after reports of property being well alight.
Two fire engines attended the incident and crews wearing breathing apparatus used high pressure hose reels to extinguish the flames.
No-one was injured.
Crews checked adjoining properties but found no sign of the fire spreading.
Firefighters remained at the scene for around 40 minutes.
