THREE Wirral schools were among those honoured in the Educate Awards at Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral on Friday.

Around 600 guests gathered for the ceremony, hosted by broadcaster Simon 'Rossie' Ross.

Bebington High School Farm won the Spirit of Enterprise award for its expanding school farm which breeds a range of animals including; ewes and pigs.

Mosslands School in Wallasey won the STEM (Science, technology, engineering, computing and mathematics) Project of the Year award due to its dedication in providing students with a fuller understanding of the impact STEM has on society and our daily lives.

Seacombe-based Riverside Primary School won the Outstanding Arts in Primary School award for its ‘Adventure into Wonderland’ project. Riverside used drama to improve all areas, most notably attendance increased to an outstanding 97%.

The project accumulated in a 45 minute film of their own unique interpretation of Alice in Wonderland.
