A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital following a crash in Wallasey.
Emergency services were called at 9.25am today (Monday) to Mount Road after reports of a collision involving a Ford Focus and motorcycle.
Two fire engines and the Search and Rescue Team attended the incident.
Fire crews assisted paramedics after treating a motorcyclist at the scene.
The casualty was then taken to hospital for further checks.
Firefighters cleared the carriageway and remained at the scene for around 40 minutes.
