A CHARITY which provides practical and emotional support for people living with cancer are looking for volunteer collectors this festive season.
Maggie’s Merseyside, based at Clatterbridge, has a number of exciting new volunteer roles to help ensure the charity's doors stay open to those needing support.
Volunteer collectors are needed for the following dates and locations:
- Saturday, December 2 at M&S Heswall
- Sunday, December 10 at Liverpool City Centre
- Monday, December 18 at Cheshire Oaks
- Tuesday, December 19 at Cheshire Oaks
There is an opening for an experienced administrator to work one day per week within the centre.
Maggie’s Merseyside centre head Kathy Wright said: “In the three years we have been open we have had more than 37,000 visits to our centre.
"Everyone is given a warm welcome and can receive professional support. Without the help of our valued volunteers we would not be able to provide that vital support. ”
