TWO men have been arrested following a car chase in Moreton.
Merseyside Police were alerted at around 11.55pm on Wednesday, November 1, after reports a blue Renault Scenic car, suspected of being stolen, was being driven erratically and at speed in the area of Leasowe Road.
It is understood were three people in the car and that it had a damaged windscreen and headlights.
Officers followed the car for a short time before it was found abandoned.
A 20-year-old man from Moreton and a 14-year-old boy from Leasowe were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
They have both been taken into custody to be interviewed.
