MERSEYSIDE Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious road traffic collision in Bebington this morning, Sunday.
Around 8.40am, a suspected stolen Vauxhall Vectra was sighted in Bebington Road, heading towards Birkenhead where it was involved in a collision.
Police say two male occupants of the car have been taken to hospital, one of whom is described as being in a critical condition with the second described as being in a stable condition.
Officers cordoned off the scene to allow enquiries to be carried out and road closures were put in place in Bebington Road from Kings Lane and Rock Lane West, and Bedford Road and Victoria Park as the full circumstances of the incident are established.
