YOUR correspondent Mrs M Kalil makes an interesting observation about the delivery of the Wirral View to her home (Mailbox, October 11).

I count myself fortunate that I have never had a copy delivered, nor have I seen one elsewhere.

As with Mrs Kalil I very much resent part of my council tax being used in the production and delivery of this publication.

From numerous accounts I have read, it appears to be a badly-written council propaganda sheet which struggles to fill its pages with the promised cost off-set advertising and resorts to anodyne medical and health and safety information freely available elsewhere.

The sooner it is closed down the better for the council tax payers.
