Led Zeppelin

Led Zeppelin are one of the first bands I remember listening to and hearing their music brings back memories of my granddad, another big influence on my writing style.

The band’s psychedelic, story-based lyrics always spark my imagination when it comes to music.

Greg Dixon

Warrington Guardian:

A close friend, and an awesome performer. Greg gave me a lot of advice on guitar technique and sound when I was first learning how to play acoustic guitar. He helped develop a few of my songs, such as Erosion, Bad Man and La Fenice.

Greg features on Bad Man from my Questions EP, and also plays guitar and piano on the Hero EP.

But he can usually be found fronting the immense psychedelic grunge band, Psyblings

Pearl Jam

Warrington Guardian:

Eddie Vedder, front man of Pearl Jam has to be one of the main inspirations for me when it comes to vocals. He has a wicked range and tone, that has made him one of the most iconic rock stars. I have connected with his lyrics through several parts of my life.

Once in a while someone in the crowd will say my voice reminds them of Eddie Vedder, which is more of a compliment than I know how to express.

Tori Amos

Warrington Guardian:

For me, Tori Amos is one of the most outstanding solo artists of all time. Her live album, To Venus and Back, shows the importance of dynamics in a set.

Each song builds and pulls you in multiple directions. Also the raw energy she puts into her performance gives me goosebumps every time.

Emma-Rose Davies

Emma is the lead singer from the duo, Symbiont. I have worked with Emma a couple of times this summer, in the hope of releasing a few tracks early next year. What I love about Emma is her ability to feel what she is writing and to watch how she develops a song in the writing process. It really helped me connect with my own emotions more, and be a little less cryptic with my lyrics.
