The driver from Ellesmere Port was pronounced dead at the scene
A 22-year-old man has died following a collision in Eastham.
Emergency services were called at around 4.55pm on Sunday to Rivacre Road after reports that a black BMW car had crashed into a ditch.
The driver from Ellesmere Port was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 21-year-old man, who was a passenger in the car, was taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
The road was closed to allow for forensic examination of the scene and later re-opened.
Specialist family liaison officers are supporting the next of kin of the man.
