A GROUP of friendly bikers will slip on their leather jackets and ride around Wirral to raise cash for Macmillan.
Around 100 bikers from the Wirral Harley Davidson Riders will take to the road for a brilliant cause on Saturday, September 30.
On the day, the group will meet at their usual haunt The Bridge in Port Sunlight at 11am before their ride across the borough.
The group have previously raised cash for the likes of Wirral blood bikes and supported New Ferry after the devastating explosion.
All cash raised will go towards Macmillan funding, which will contribute to life-changing services for cancer sufferers.

One of the organisers Ozy Ray told the Globe: “Marie McNally, the landlady of The Bridge where we meet in Port Sunlight made us aware that she was doing fundraising for Macmillan through a coffee morning and asked whether we’d be up for doing something to help.
“Everyone is the group has all had loved ones, or friends based in Wirral who have benefitted from the help of Macmillan nurses so it all came together as a jigsaw.
“We’re three years old this year and this is what we do - we want to come and help.
“The group is for people who want to meet and just want to enjoy riding their Harleys.
“We have pensioners, girls, boys – people from all walks of life.”
On the day people can show their support by cheering on the riders and donating cash in collection buckets.
Ozy added: “Marie will be joining us as a pillion before shaving her hair off for Macmillan, so that should raise even more money.
“From 11am we’ll meet for coffee and tea then get our collection buckets – there’ll be a couple of 100 bikers there.
“We’ll be riding up to the A41 and come back around Willaston, Heswall then to Tranmere, all at a leisurely pace.
“As and when we’ll try and collect throughout the ride.”
The bikers will then be greeted at the Birch Tree in Tranmere before having refreshments and food.
Ozy said: “Anyone who wants our support should get in touch and we’ll come and help, they’ll always be a handful of riders there.
“We’re all friends and family orientated and everyone comes to our meetings.”
