A MAN has been taken to hospital after he was found with stab wounds in Wallasey.
Merseyside Police were called to Hothfield Road at around 1.05pm today (Thursday) by North West Ambulance Service after a man in his 30s was found with stab wounds to his head, back and arm.
A meat cleaver was found nearby and has been recovered for forensic enquiries.
A 31-year-old man from Wallasey was arrested close by on suspicion of assault and has been taken to a police station for questioning by detectives.
