FOR the third week in succession Oxton Parkonians were involved in a nail biting encounter, this time away to Mossley Hill.
The sides were very evenly-balanced throughout and the lead was exchanged between the teams several times during a pulsating game.
Two penalty goals from Jack Fletcher and a penalty try gave Parkonians a 13-10 lead at the half, before a strong second half performance from Mossley Hill resulted in three successful penalties for the home side.
A well-worked try from Andy Smith left Parkonians just a single point adrift as time ran out.
After sustained forward pressure Parkonians were awarded a penalty and Fletcher displayed nerveless composure to slot in via an upright from 40 yards to give the visitors a 21-19 away win.
