UPTON Youth moved to top of the Dundee Youth division when showing Neston Nomads the way in a seven goal thriller that they won 4-3 with goals from Lewis Unsworth (2), Charlie McDowell and Josh Smith.

Keeping pace are new boys Groves FC who beat Wallasey Wanderers (Jay Davies-2) 6-2 thanks to a hat-trick by Jack Hill, a double from Liam Sparks and a single from Ross Cooper.

A goal apiece from Jack Ollerhead and Charlie Andrews earned Wirral SB a share of the spoils as they drew 2-2 with West Kirby Wasps who replied through Matty Knowles and Liam Locke.

Plenty of goals in the Grove Youth division as West Kirby United Panthers mauled Allport Hawks (Jack Taylor) 8-1 as Tom Danby (3), Rob Nairn (2), Ben Banks, Ben Austin and Sufian Alam found the net.

Park Royal soared past Eastham Rangers Jets (Ethan Mellor) in a 12-1 success that saw Dan Mally, Will Sass, Simon Lunn and Joe Irvine all score doubles, with Alfie Hunt grabbing a treble and Charlie Chatterton hit a single.

Also netting double figures were Higher Beb U-17s as they doused Phoenix the Flames 13-0 to go top on goal difference.
