PREPARATIONS are underway for this year's Roz Tranfield's fashion show to raise £100,000 for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.

Roz, Merseyside’s Woman of the Year 2016, has organised the event which will take place at Thornton Hall Hotel and Spa on Thursday, October 12.

Diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2014, Roz has turned a negative situation into a positive, raising money for both research and the centre where she is receiving her treatment while in remission.

Owner of the Roz Tranfield Beauty Centre in Liscard she hopes the event will give people suffering from cancer the confidence to move forward.

This years proceeds will be invested in Clatterbridge’s own leading research The Bluebell Study.

Alongside Roz on the catwalk there will be eight female and six male models who have all battled cancer and received support from Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.

The show will also entertain with a dance extravaganza performed by The Liverpool Theatre School and live music will come from Jade Tremarco while her mother Diane will be the evening's compere.

Sponsors of this glitzy event are David M Robinson Jewellers and Glassrooms Glazing Limited.

Already there have been generous donations from several businesses in Birkenhead which will add to the auction of raffle prizes on the evening.

Businesses who are yet to donate still have time to come forward.

Tickets are £20 and are available by calling Roz’s salon on 0151 638 1033.
