THREE people were taken to hospital following a crash in Ellesmere Port.
Emergency services were called at around 9.35pm on Monday to reports of a crash on Rivacre Road which runs next to the M53.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue service helped free a man was trapped in one of the cars.
He was then handed over to North West Ambulance Service paramedics at the scene.
All casualties were taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital.
