THE Floral Pavilion in New Brighton is in the running for the title of 'UK’s most welcoming theatre.'
The venue is the only Wirral theatre nominated and among more than 175 venues competing for the coveted title.
Voting closes on Tuesday, September 19, at www.uktheatre.org/vote
The 12 regional and national winners of the vote will be announced on September 29.
The winners will be decided by public vote and announced at the UK Theatre Awards on October 15.

The awards honour outstanding achievement in theatre throughout the United Kingdom.
Julian Bird, chief executive of UK Theatre, said: "Most Welcoming Theatre is a chance for audiences to celebrate their local theatre and for venues to shout about the incredible work they are doing day in day out.
"Theatres are the backbone of communities across the country and this campaign highlights the vital work they do."
As an added incentive, people who nominate are entered into a prize draw for £200 worth of theatre tickets.
