FOUR instructors from Wirral-based Black Dragon Martial Arts have been inducted into a prestigious illustrated hall of fame.
Kristopher Ricks, a senior instructor in third degree black belt and Ian McCavish, who teaches first Dan Black Belt and is also a member of Wirral Shotokan, were inducted during a ceremony in Derby, in front of a 300-strong audience.
Colleagues Peter Keating, who instructs first degree Black Belt, and Kevin Simmons, who teaches first Degree Black Belt, where unable to attend due to personal reasons, but their awards where collected on their behalf.
Black Dragon Martial Arts' is based in Arrowe Park.
On the group's induction to the hall of fame, chief instructor Lee Charles said: "It is such a massive achievement for all the guys.
"It is a recognition of all the years of hard work and commitment they have put into both their own training, and also the work they put into the students who walk through our club door.
"We pride ourselves on providing the best tuition and instruction possible and the Instructors receiving these awards just confirm what we believe in.
"I also believe it is important to have good role models for the children to look upto and I believe that these gentlemen truly epitomise that.
"It is such an honour for me to have them as part of our family here at Black Dragon."
